No Garbage Collection on Memorial Day

The observance of Memorial Day falls on Monday, May 26. While Mondays
are days scheduled for trash collection within Westchase, Hillsborough
County Solid Waste Management System has designated Memorial Day – as
well as Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, the Fourth of
July (Independence Day) and Labor Day – as a day on which there will be
no residential service. Residents should therefore not place out any
trash for collection on Monday, May 26.
There is no make-up day for solid waste collection services on the
following day. Your next waste collection will be on Thursday, May 29.
The next collection for recycling and landscape debris, however, will
occur on Monday, June 2.
