Westchase Shout Outs
Congratulations to Radcliffe’s Eileen Randle! Eileen recently completed her Jazzercise instructor certification training and is now teaching a 5:45 a.m. class at Westchase Jazzercise on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Way to go, Eileen! We are very proud of you!
Kudos to Girl Scout Troop 1231, which participated in their second annual Teddy Bear Roundup. The girls donated new bears that will be given to sick children or adults. Very small bears are sent overseas for our soldiers to give to Afghan children. Compared to last year, the growth that the girls showed in being able to say goodbye to these special bears was inspiring. The Scouts thank Mr. Marty Mantei from the Tampa Bay Rough Riders for speaking to them about the Teddy Bear Roundup!

Great job and special thanks to Courtney, Steve, Jillian and Demonic Netta; Chris Mason; Grace and Martha Wilcox; April Lavenant; and Brian, Ronnie, Bri and Danny Zeigler for cleaning and painting all the mailboxes on Bayboro Bridge Drive. The street looks great! We thank you for making the neighborhood terrific! -Pam Wilcox
A big “thank you” to former CDD Supervisors Bob Argus, Susan Edgerley, Keith Heinemann, Joseph Lechman and Lewis Patterson, who voluntarily stepped down from their paid positions on the two Westchase districts to make possible a merger that will save Westchasers money and streamline our local government. It is rare to see such selflessness in elected leaders today!
The Alonso High School TV Production Students would like to thank World of Westchase for an awesome, state of the art studio. Our new morning show is a class act thanks to your graciousness and support. We couldn't have done it without you! -Assistant Principal Larissa McCoy
Kudos to Preppy Pets Suites and its owners, Cherie and Craig. In the past year, they agreed to care for four pets belonging to a relative of ours who sought much needed in-patient therapy. They not only provided excellent care for the pets, they provided continuous support for our family member, ever encouraging her to stick with the plan. Recently our family member completed one year of treatment, obtained independent residence and is now with her beloved pets and enjoying a life about which her pets and she could have only previously dreamed. We will be forever grateful to Cherie and Craig for taking an active role in providing a new start to both our family member and her four furr-children. -Judy Servidio

Shout Outs
A big shout out to Caroline Butt for donating 10 inches of hair to Locks of Love. It has been a long, two-year process that began when a dear family friend was diagnosed with breast cancer. We are so proud of Caroline for her commitment to this great cause. -Love, Mom, Dad and Andrew
Congratulations to Greens resident and upcoming Robinson IB freshman Julie Williams for singing the national anthem at the July 18 Rays versus Yankees game. The evening marked the annual "Lou Gehrig Nights" with the Tampa Bay Rays. Julie was able to honor the memory of her uncle Jim Davis, who passed away from this disease in 2000. More than 25 friends and neighbors came out to support Julie and the ALS Association. Congratulations, Julie!
Congratulations to Lucas and Joseph Trim for placing in the North Sun Coast Junior Golf Association Tournament of Champions! The tournament was held at World Woods Golf Course in Brooksville on Aug. 4-5. Lucas placed third in the 16-18 advanced boys, shooting a two-day total of 146, which was three over par. Joseph placed first in the 13-15 advanced boys age group with 140, three under par.
Want to offer a shout out to China on Race Track Road. Recently, just as I was walking out their door with my order, I realized I had forgotten to order one entree. They whipped it up pronto and then wouldn't even let me pay for it! That's what I call customer focused. -Chris Fischer
