MOMS Club of Westchase Hosts Valentine’s Day Open House

If you are a new mom, or a mom new to the area, how can you avoid going stir crazy during those often bleak but sometimes mild days that make up Tampa’s winter? Moms unite! While the weather can be unpredictable, one thing is certain. When you have a supportive group of moms to share them with, the coldest days fly by and the sunny days become full of memories that will last a lifetime.

If you’ve been looking to meet other moms of infants, toddlers or preschoolers, come join us in the MOMS Club of Westchase.  We offer weekly age appropriate playdates, open plays, a running club, monthly MOMS nights out and a book club. We also have a strong focus on philanthropic pursuits.

Some highlights from the past couple months have included a Holiday Around the World Party, for which members prepared special dishes representing their heritage, and a painting night out, when our MOMS enjoyed a private art class. Our MOMS also hosted a pizza party for the residents of the Ronald McDonald House of Tampa.

In February we are hosting a Valentine’s Day Open House. If you have been interested in joining the club, but have been too intimidated to show up to a playdate, this will be a wonderful way to meet other members and see if the club might have something to offer you. Other events to look forward this February include a fire station tour, a MOMS Night Out at Catch 23, open plays at Gator Fred’s and Glencliff Park, and an informational session hosted by a local pediatric dentist, Sandra Makram, DDS.
