Fireworks, food, fun and parades: The celebrations are in full swing this Fourth of July!
Below are just a few options to spend the holiday, with fun for all ages.
The American Legion Auxiliary will host a patriotic parade down Main Street on the morning of July 4th Wear your red, white and blue and be ready for a good time. There will be a patriotic ceremony at the Gazebo at John Wilson Park immediately following the parade with free snow cones, water, juice, cookies and popcorn.
Date: Mon, July 4, 10 a.m.-noon
Location: Safety Harbor Main Street
Head to Safety Harbor again in the evening for a July 4th Celebration. There will be children’s activities, live entertainment, food vendors, and plenty of fun for the whole family. Get a good seat in the Marina or the Waterfront Park to view the fireworks display at exactly 9 p.m.

Location: Safety Harbor Waterfront Park
The Friends of the Tampa Riverwalk will celebrate the holiday with their 2nd annual July 4th Boat Parade and Blessing of the Fleet. The parade route will be similar to the holiday light boat parade, plus three blessing stations. (The Blessing of the Fleet is a tradition that began years ago but is still practiced in many fishing and boating communities around the world to ensure a safe and bountiful season.)
Date: Mon, July 4, 6-10 p.m.
Location: The parade begins in the Convention Center basin, travels to the Heights, and ends at Sparkman Wharf.
Boom by the Bay is back with three fireworks displays: Armature Works, Sparkman Wharf and Bayshore Boulevard (south of Davis Islands Bridge). The Davis Islands display will be largest display of the three. Before the fireworks begin at dusk, there will be a variety of family-friendly activities occurring throughout the city, including a water-ski show outside of Sparkman, a hot dog eating competition at Armature Works, plus food trucks at Curtis Hixon Park and a boat parade along the Hillsborough River.

Spend the day enjoying a day of thrills at Busch Gardens and then feel the spark after dark with and all-new fireworks show, happening every weekend through the summer, as well as July 4th.
