The 2023 Great West Chase 5K/10K and Children’s Fun Run will be held on Sat, Oct. 28.
Now in its 22nd year, The Great West Chase has become a cherished Westchase tradition that strengthens our community connections while also helping WOW promote school success for underprivileged kids. Each year, our generous sponsors play a huge role in making this race a success.

Registration for this year’s race is also open now! And you don’t want to miss out on this fun community-wide event. Halloween costumes are welcome (and encouraged) and you’ll find an unmatched comradery running alongside familiar faces from the neighborhood.
More than that, you’ll be running for a great cause. Bellamy Elementary, a nearby elementary school where 85 percent of the students are economically disadvantaged, will be the recipient of this year’s race proceeds. Principal Michele Toscani is on a mission to create a much-needed food pantry for her students and their families, and your participation in the Great West Chase can help!
The 5K and 10K events are USATF/RRTC nationally certified, chip-timed races. If you’ve never participated, make this year’s race your first. You’ll find a very supportive crowd! Each year we recognize runners who make The Great West Chase their first 5K or 10K.
