Seeking to protect its staff while ensuring continued work in the community, the Westchase Community Development District (CDD) will close its offices today through April 13.
“Our staff will continue to be out working as long as it’s safe,” said CDD Office Manager Sonny Whyte.
While the CDD office will be closed, CDD staff will work remotely, responding to phone calls and emails. Residents needing gate transponders will have them delivered to their homes. During the closure, the district will take no more park party reservations for gatherings during the scheduled closure.
The CDD meeting scheduled for Tuesday, April 7 at 4 p.m. is also cancelled.
The CDD, which is responsible for maintenance of parks, ponds and common areas as well as gates and rights of way in gated neighborhoods, can be reached at (813) 920-4268 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
