Westchase Master Plan Committee Survey Seeks Resident Input

WCA Director Joaquin Arrillaga, chair of the Master Plan Committee, is hoping to hear from hundreds of residents of the Westchase Community Association (WCA).

His committee has put together a survey about improvements to Westchase’s programs and facilities. Results will help shape three master plans of various time lengths that the WCA Board is expected to consider at their January meeting.

Stated Arrillaga, “The board of directors is very excited to see what ideas for improvements or additions to our programs and facilities Westchase residents will submit. We have incorporated changes to our programs and new facilities like expanded hours for tennis and pool operation, pickleball, movies at the park, our tennis welcoming building and more after receiving input from residents.”

He added, “At this time the board wants to create one-, three-, and five-year plans and we need your input for that. We recommend you ask everyone at home since the idea is to improve everyone’s life inside our community and our kids can be great sources. Examples of ideas are fall and/or spring festivals, a Halloween party at the park and many more. You will find more ideas while doing the survey.”

The survey can be found at and must be completed by Dec. 10 for the input to be included in committee report. Residents may also send an email with their recommendations to
