Volunteer with the Great West Chase

A large part of our work at the WOW is putting on community events that offer a fun way to keep neighbors connected. As a small, nonprofit organization, we rely on the help of volunteers to make our events a success.

When it comes to The Great West Chase on Saturday, Oct. 25, multiple volunteers are needed to help pull off this large-scale event – from preparing race bags in the days leading up to the race to helping with early morning registration on race day. “This event takes the whole community from start to finish and any group or organization wanting to be a part of it is welcome,” said Event Chair Leslie Blaze.

Volunteers are needed at bag stuffing on Oct. 22 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., packet pick-up on Oct. 23 from 9:00 a.m.-1 p.m. and 3-6 p.m., and on race day for various shifts running from 4:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Those looking to volunteer can email billing@westchasewow.com or sign up at https://tinyurl.com/ydbbbhct. This is a great way for high schoolers to earn Bright Futures hours as well.
