We’re shaking things up for WOW’s 27th Annual Holiday Decorating Contest.
Our Westchase and Northwest neighborhoods are filled with creative holiday displays, and we want to acknowledge our residents’ hard work. Last year, the WOW team put our heads together and came up with some fun new categories that will make the contest a bit more interesting. We’ve tweaked those a bit.
This year, we’ll award winners in the following categories:
Community Spirit Award: The best-decorated subdivision, street or group of homes will win annual bragging rights and $200 to throw a block party. We’ll award one winner in Westchase and one in the Northwest.
The Griswold: Whether blue & white, red & green or every color in the rainbow, this award will go to the home with the best overall use of lights.
The Martha Stewart: Garlands and wreaths and white lights, oh my! This award will go to the home that offers a touch of elegance that would make Martha proud.
Deck the Yard Award: Break out the reindeer and pump up those inflatables. This award focuses on the best use of yard decorations to enhance the overall display.
Small but Mighty Award: It’s time to think big about those smaller yard spaces. This award will go to the resident of a townhome, villa, condo or other attached dwelling who makes a maximum impact in minimum yard space.
Individual winners will earn bragging rights and a yard sign to display through Jan. 1!
To enter the decorating contest, please fill out the form below by 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6. Judging will take place on Fri, Dec. 13 and Sat, Dec. 14.
