The day is almost here! The Westchase Spring Egg Hunt returns to the Westchase Recreation Center on Sunday, March 29 from 1-4 p.m.

This family-friendly event is much more than a simple egg hunt. The afternoon also offers lots of fun activities for the whole family, including games, arts and crafts, and pictures with the Easter Bunny.
The event will feature three egg hunts throughout the afternoon, each of which will be sectioned off by age group. Choose from the 1:15, 2:15 or 3:15 p.m. time slots. Participants should bring their own basket. Each child ticket is $15 and includes the egg hunt, all of the activities and a meal (hotdog, chips and drink). Adults can purchase a meal for $7.
Families interested in attending can purchase tickets in advance here. This is a great way to avoid the lines on the day of the event.
The Egg Hunt also features great sponsors from our community who will have fun activities at their booths for the kids – often with the chance to earn prizes! This year’s Title Sponsor is Taylor Financial.
The Spring Egg Hunt is one of WOW’s signature charitable events that allows us to raise money for local schools and organizations in need. Last year’s Egg Hunt raised over $9,000 and funds were distributed to local schools and charitable organizations, including Clothes To Kids, Lavoy Exceptional Center, Metropolitan Ministries, Humane Society of Tampa Bay Pet Pantry, End 68 Hours of Hunger, Oldsmar Cares, and to provide holiday meals for Angel Tree families at Westchase Elementary and Davidsen Middle School. It is a fun family event that brings our community together while giving back to those in need.
