Ready to tee up for a great cause? There are several charitable golf tournaments coming up this fall!

Tee Up for Autism

Date: Sept. 30
Location: Westchase Golf Course

Jacob’s Touch Foundation Charity Golf Tournament returns on Saturday, Sept. 30 at Westchase Golf Course. Funds raised will support the foundation’s mission to aid families and organizations serving children on the Autistic Spectrum through grants for therapeutic, medical and educational needs.

In 2022, through the kindness of sponsors and donors, they raised over $50,000 for local families to assist with essential therapies and medical costs.

Freebooters Charity Golf Tournament Benefitting Westchase Charitable Foundation

Date: Oct. 21
Location: Westchase Golf Course

The Westchase Krewe of Freebooters will host its Charity Golf Tournament at Westchase Golf Course on Saturday, Oct. 21. The annual event has raised more than $36,000 in grants for the Westchase Charitable Foundation since 2020 and the WCF will benefit from the event’s proceeds again this year. The tournament hosts more than 100 golfers who enjoy the numerous on-course hospitality stations that provide many beverages, snacks, prizes and other experiences compliments of their generous sponsors. In addition to complimentary dinner during the post-party and awards presentation, the day will include player prizes, silent auctions, a 50/50 raffle and access to the bar stationed on board the Krewe’s double-decker Gasparilla float! Swing Fore Shoes

Date: Oct. 30
Location: Eastlake Woodlands Golf Course

The mission of Clothes To Kids is to provide new and quality used clothing to low-income or in crisis, school-age children, free of charge. Their shoppers are kids in both Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties who are eligible for free and reduced-price lunch. Each year, Clothes To Kids provides more than 15,000 pairs of shoes to help students complete their wardrobes. This year, they are hosting the Swing Fore Shoes Golf Tournament at Eastlake Woodlands Golf Course on October 30. Sponsorships start at $250 and the cost for an individual player is $150. Hillsborough Helping Kids Charity Golf Classic

Date: Nov. 3
Location: Westchase Golf Course

On Friday, Nov. 3, Hillsborough Helping Kids Golf Classic will hold their annual golf tournament at the Westchase Golf Course. Registration begins at 11 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. and dinner and prizes at 6 p.m. Last year’s tournament raised $17,000, and they are looking to top that this year.

The tournament is hosted by Global 504, a non-profit private humanitarian aid organization founded by Harbor Links/The Estates residents Mark and PJ Broussard to focus on the most neglected kids in the world. Proceeds raised benefit Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Youth Programs,

Alonso Baseball to Host 19th Annual Golf Tournament

Location: Westchase Golf Course

Calling all golfers – and local businesses, too!  The two-time state champion Alonso Ravens Baseball Team will be hosting its 19th annual fundraising golf tournament on Sunday, November 5th at the Westchase Golf Course.  The tournament, which begins at 12:30 p.m., is the team’s primary source of funds and all the proceeds will be used to improve the program, purchase needed equipment, and upgrade their facilities.

If you would like to support this worthy cause, the team is seeking golfers, sponsors and community partners who are willing to donate prizes for our silent auction.  We offer a variety of recognition and tax deductible sponsorship opportunities, ranging from$100 to $2,500.

Golfers may register as a foursome or as individuals and various prizes are awarded on both levels.  The cost to participate is $120.00 per person, which includes cart, green fees, and dinner.
